Welcome
While you are with us at Ponderosa Baptist Church, there are many ways to engage with the worship experience. You can follow along on the screens or use a hymnal, whichever feels most comfortable for you. Our services are a blended style, thoughtfully combining traditional hymns and contemporary songs, heartfelt preaching from God’s Word, and moments of uplifting worship designed to inspire, encourage, and draw you closer to God.
Every part of the service is meant to help you connect with God, reflect on His love, and grow in your faith, whether you are visiting for the first time or have been part of our church family for years. We want everyone to feel welcome, included, and inspired as we worship together.
During Announcements
If this is your first time visiting, don’t feel embarrassed—we’re so glad you’re here! As a special welcome, all first-time visitors will receive a small gift—you’re about to get “Mugged”! 😄
During worship, you can follow along on the screens or use a hymnal, whichever you prefer. Our services are a blended style, featuring both traditional and contemporary music to help everyone engage in meaningful and uplifting worship.
During the Service
While you are enjoying the worship service, children in grades 1–5 will have a special Children’s Message. After the message, infants and toddlers are welcome to go to the nursery, and children in grades 1–5 are invited to attend Children’s Church in the Children’s Ministry Center/Rose Hall.
Children’s Church offers a time of interactive learning, fun activities, and age-appropriate Bible lessons, giving them a meaningful and enjoyable way to grow in faith while parents participate in the service.
