Mission Monday
Each Monday, the women of Ponderosa Baptist Church gather for Mission Monday, a time of fellowship, creativity, and service. With hearts for ministry and hands at work, this group uses their sewing and crafting talents to bless others both locally and around the world.
Our projects include sewing quilts and blankets for children in need, many of which are placed in local sheriff’s vehicles to comfort children going through difficult situations. We also create quilts for local veterans, offering warmth and gratitude for their service.
In addition to local outreach, our Mission Monday team supports global missions by making washable feminine hygiene products for women overseas, sewing kits for Jamaica, and isolette covers for NICU units in nearby hospitals to help protect and comfort premature babies.
We also craft walker pockets for patients in therapy, providing them with a practical way to carry items while they recover, and we celebrate special Salvation Days by sharing testimonies and the love of Christ with others.
Every stitch tells a story of hope and love. Whether we’re serving children, veterans, or women across the globe, our goal is to share God’s love through the work of our hands.
