Woodlands Nature Center Field Trip 10/25

We recently enjoyed a fun and educational field trip to the Woodlands Nature Center! It was a special opportunity for our kids to learn, explore, and grow together while discovering the beauty of the Land Between the Lakes area—a true blessing to have so close to home.

Spending time with the children, both at church and outside the church walls, is so important. These moments allow them to step away from daily routines and experience the wonder of God’s creation firsthand.

Time spent together in fellowship strengthens not only our friendships but also our faith, helping us grow closer as a church family and as children of God.

Learning and Growing Together

The Nature Center field trip was a truly special day filled with learning, laughter, and exploration. Our children had the opportunity to experience God’s beautiful creation firsthand as they explored the trails, observed wildlife, and discovered the wonders of nature all around them. It was both an educational and spiritual experience that reminded us of the amazing handiwork of His creation.

Located right here in the Land Between the Lakes (LBL) area, the Woodlands Nature Center offers a perfect setting for children to connect with the outdoors while growing in fellowship and faith. Spending time together outside of church helps strengthen relationships, deepen friendships, and encourage a sense of community among our young people.

Moments like these give our children the chance to step away from their daily routines and see the world through a new lens — one that reflects God’s creativity, care, and love for all He has made. We are so thankful for opportunities like this that allow our church family to learn, grow, and enjoy God’s creation together.

I Saw a Red Wolf and a Barned Owl! I Saw Snakes! I Saw a Red Hawk. We had lunch and saw fish! It was really good to be with the church family and see what God made!
