The Way
Volunteering at The Way
Each month, on the 3rd Tuesday, our church family has the privilege of volunteering at The Way Christian Youth Center in Trigg County, Kentucky. During this time, we prepare and serve meals to teens and young people, sharing not only food but also fellowship, encouragement, and the love of Christ.
About The Way:
The Way is a Christ-centered youth ministry dedicated to serving the teens of Trigg County. Rooted in John 14:6—“I am the way, the truth, and the life”—the center provides a safe and welcoming space where teens can explore their faith, build relationships, and grow as servant leaders. Programs include Bible studies, creative ministry classes such as drama and puppetry, sewing classes, life skills workshops, and community events that encourage spiritual and personal growth.
During our visits, Bro. Norman spends time with the kids during devotional sessions, sharing God’s Word and guiding them in faith. Volunteering at The Way is a meaningful way to support local youth, serve meals, teach practical skills, share God’s love, and build relationships with the next generation of leaders.
Wildcat Classes
Our Wildcat Classes are held in the new building and offer a variety of engaging opportunities for kids and teens to grow in faith, creativity, and life skills. Current classes include Bible Study, Creative Ministry, Chess Club, and Cooking, with Sewing coming in January.
We are excited to announce our new Teen Christian Library, providing a quiet space for students to read, study, and explore God’s Word. Each day, kids enjoy meals, devotional times, and fun activities, giving them a balanced experience of spiritual growth, learning, and fellowship.
Wildcat Classes are designed to help students connect with God, build friendships, and discover their gifts in a safe, supportive, and Christ-centered environment.
