Each year, members of Ponderosa Baptist Church along with "Mission Builders for Christ,"  answer God’s call to serve in Jamaica through hands-on mission work and heartfelt ministry. What began as a small outreach effort has grown into a cherished partnership with local churches and communities.

Our mission team travels to Jamaica to help build and improve church facilities, homes, and other community amenities that meet both physical and spiritual needs. Whether mixing concrete, painting walls, or sharing a prayer, every act of service is an opportunity to show Christ’s love in action.

A highlight of each trip is hosting Vacation Bible School for the local children. Our volunteers bring Bible lessons, music, crafts, and games that share the Gospel message in a joyful, memorable way. Over the years, these moments have helped plant seeds of faith and build deep, lasting friendships with families throughout the area.

The Jamaica Mission has become more than a yearly trip—it’s an ongoing relationship. Many of our members have grown close to the people we serve, returning year after year to reconnect, encourage, and continue the work God has started.
